The short answer
You must be at least 18 years old to open an account and trade with UZO. This applies to everyone, on every product, from the moment you buy an account. If you are under 18 you are not eligible, whichever country you are in.
This is a firm rule, not a formality. It is set out in our Master Terms, and it holds regardless of when identity verification takes place. Being able to start trading quickly does not change who is allowed to start.
The rule, in full
Under Article 3.1 of our Master Terms, the Services are intended exclusively for individuals who are aged 18 years or older and who reside in a country where UZO makes the Services available. By purchasing an account and agreeing to the Terms, you confirm that you meet both conditions.
Two things you confirm
You are 18 years of age or older, and UZO is available in your country of residence. Both must be true for your account to be valid.
When your age is checked
You do not need to verify your identity to buy an account and begin trading, so it is possible to start before any document is seen. That does not mean there is no age requirement. When you complete identity verification through our verification process, your date of birth is confirmed. If that check shows you were under 18 when you opened the account, the account and any rewards attached to it can be voided.
In short: the 18 requirement always applies. Verification simply confirms later what you agreed to at the start.
