Which countries can and cannot use UZO?

UZO is available almost everywhere. A short, published list of restricted countries is the only exception, and here it is.

The short answer

UZO is open to traders in almost every country. A small, clearly published list of restricted jurisdictions is the only exception. Should you reside in one of them, you are not eligible to open an account or trade, and your eligibility is confirmed at signup. Separately, and wherever you live, anyone subject to applicable sanctions may not use the Services.

The full list is set out in our Legal Disclaimer, under Article 3.2 of the Master Terms, so you always know exactly where you stand. Should your country be restricted, this is made clear before any payment is taken, and the list below is the authoritative source.

Restricted countries

As of the current version of our Legal Disclaimer, the Services are not available to residents of the following jurisdictions:

  • Afghanistan

  • Central African Republic

  • the Crimea, Donetsk and Luhansk regions of Ukraine

  • Cuba

  • Iran

  • Iraq

  • Kosovo

  • Libya

  • Mali

  • Myanmar

  • North Korea

  • Pakistan

  • Palestine

  • Russia

  • Somalia

  • South Sudan

  • Sudan

  • Syria

  • Vanuatu

  • Venezuela

This list can change

The list of restricted countries may be updated from time to time to reflect sanctions and legal requirements. The current version in our Legal Disclaimer always governs. Regardless of residence, any person with whom dealing is prohibited or restricted under sanctions, export-control or anti-money-laundering laws may not use the Services.

A note for the United States

If you reside in the United States, you are welcome to use UZO through the TradeLocker platform. MetaTrader 5 is not available to US residents, so simply choose TradeLocker when you sign up and everything else works exactly as it does elsewhere.

Checking your eligibility

If you are unsure whether UZO is available where you live, the quickest way to find out is to begin signup, where a restricted region is flagged before any payment is taken. You are also welcome to email [email protected], and a member of the team will confirm it for you.
