How the One Step Flex challenge works

One phase, a 9% target and no time limit, then a funded account with an 80% share and a reward every 14 days. The full rule set, explained end to end.

The short answer

One Step Flex is a single-phase evaluation. Grow your simulated balance by 9%, across at least 3 qualifying trading days, whilst staying inside the risk limits, and you pass. There is no time limit and no second phase. Once funded, you keep 80% of your profit and may request a reward every 14 days.

UZO is a simulated trading platform. You trade on real, live market prices across six markets, forex, metals, crypto, indices, shares and energies, with more than 1,300 instruments available, whilst the capital itself is simulated and none of it is your own money at risk. One Step Flex measures whether you can trade that environment with discipline, over more than a single session. Clear it, and you move to a funded account where your results convert into real rewards.

The profit target

There is exactly one target to reach: 9% profit on your starting balance. On a $10,000 account that is $900 of net simulated gain. Reach it without breaching a limit, with the trading day minimum met, and the phase is complete.

Because there is only one phase, nothing waits after this target. One number, one finish line.

Minimum trading days

You pass across at least 3 qualifying trading days. A day qualifies when you close it at least 0.5% in profit. On a $10,000 account, that is $50 or more in closed profit on the day.

A day on which you trade but finish below that mark is simply not counted, and it costs you nothing. The days need not be consecutive. Should you reach the target before the third qualifying day, keep trading at your own measured pace: the phase completes once both the target and the day count are met.

No time limit

There is no time limit. Whether you reach the target in a week or over several months, the challenge stays open, provided the account remains active (see Inactivity below). That removes the pressure to force trades, which is usually what ends an evaluation early.

The risk limits

Three limits protect the account throughout the challenge and on your funded account. Breaking any one of them ends the account.

Rule

Limit

What it means

Daily drawdown

3%

The most your equity may fall within a single trading day. It resets at 00:00 UTC.

Maximum drawdown

6% trailing

Your overall floor. It trails your equity upward, then locks at your starting balance.

Single-trade loss

3%

No individual trade may lose more than 3% of your account size.

  • Daily drawdown: at 00:00 UTC, whichever is higher of your equity and balance becomes the day's reference, and your equity may not fall more than 3% below it. If the day opens at $10,000, that day's floor sits at $9,700.

  • Maximum drawdown: on a $10,000 account the floor starts at $9,400 and trails $600 beneath your highest equity. Once your equity reaches $10,600, the floor has risen to $10,000, your starting balance, and it stays there for the life of the account.

  • Single-trade loss: on a $10,000 account, no single position may lose more than $300. Sizing each position so its worst case lands comfortably inside that figure is the surest way never to reach it.

All three are measured on your equity, so the floating profit or loss of open positions counts in real time, not only when a trade is closed. Your dashboard shows each live figure, so you never have to work one out by hand.

Account sizes and leverage

One Step Flex is available from $5,000 up to $1,000,000, with a one-time evaluation fee shown at checkout for each size. Leverage is fixed at 1:100 across every size.

Your funded account

When you pass, your account is reviewed and you move to a funded account. The risk limits stay exactly as they were: 3% daily, 6% trailing maximum and 3% per trade. What changes is that your results now earn real rewards.

You keep 80%

On a funded One Step Flex account you keep 80% of the profit and UZO keeps 20%, at every account size. Rewards are paid by bank transfer or crypto.

A reward becomes available once three conditions are met:

  • Profit: at least 3% on the account. On $10,000, that is $300 or more.

  • Trading days: at least 3 qualifying days, each closing at least 0.5% in profit, exactly as in the challenge.

  • Timing: your first reward may be requested 14 days after your funded account begins, and each one thereafter every 14 days.

You verify your identity once you have passed, in your own name, before your funded account is activated. Rewards are paid only to a bank account or crypto wallet held in that same name, so we would ask that you use your own details from the outset.

Inactivity

An account on which no trade is placed for 35 days is treated as inactive and closed. This applies to the challenge and to your funded account alike. A single trade within each 35-day window keeps the account open.
