How DQS credit works: when it is issued and how to spend it

DQS credit is issued once per purchase, shortly after a phase ends or when your first reward is approved. How the amount is set, where to see it and how to spend it.

The short answer

DQS credit is issued once per purchase: about 15 minutes after a phase on it ends without passing, or when your first reward on it is approved, whichever comes first.

It is added to your UZO account as credits, 100 to the dollar, and can pay for up to half of a future purchase.

How the amount is set

The credit is a percentage of what you actually paid for the purchase, after any discount code, payment-method discount and credits you used. The percentage is set by your score and by the size of the account. Credits you spend never earn credits.

Where a purchase has more than one phase, such as the two phases of a Two Step, the credit reflects the scores of every phase you traded on it.

At the moment of approval

The short pause after a phase closes lets your final trades finish recording, so the score reads the complete record. Only the first of these events counts: once a purchase has received its credit, nothing later on it earns a second.

A new challenge you buy is a new purchase and earns its own credit. A reset of an existing account stays part of its original purchase and never earns a second credit.

Where to see it

Your credit balance is shown in the top bar of your dashboard. The score of each phase, with its breakdown across the five measures, is available on request: write to [email protected] and name the account.

Spending it

At checkout, tick Use available credits. Your credits are applied after any discount code and payment-method discount, and can cover up to half of the price that remains. Your whole available balance is used, up to that limit, at 100 credits to the dollar.

What credit is, and is not

  • Platform credit, not cash. Credits cannot be withdrawn, exchanged for money or transferred to another person.

  • Not a reward. It is separate from your rewards. It does not count towards your reward number, your reward caps or the evaluation-fee refund on your third reward.

  • Not a refund. It does not reverse or replace your purchase.

  • No expiry. Credits do not expire.

Who receives it

Every paid purchase, whether a challenge or an Instant account. No credit is issued on free trials, on a purchase that has already received its credit, or on a purchase that has been refunded or charged back.
