Perpetuals accounts: the complete rules

One Step, Two Step and Instant Pro on perpetuals: targets, drawdown, rewards and account sizes.

The short answer

Three UZO accounts trade perpetuals: One Step (one phase), Two Step (two phases) and Instant Pro (funded from day one). Each carries the same rules as its Markets counterpart; what changes is the market, the leverage and the size range.

All three pay a 90% reward share, reset the daily drawdown at 00:00 UTC, and apply the 20% Best Day Rule to a reward request.

One Step

One phase, then a funded account. Reach 6% without breaching a limit and you pass. No minimum trading days, no time limit.

  • Daily drawdown 3%, reset at 00:00 UTC. A hard breach.

  • Maximum drawdown 6% trailing. The floor follows your equity upward, then locks at your starting balance. A hard breach.

  • Single-trade loss 3%, on the challenge and the funded account. A hard breach.

Two Step

Two phases, 6% and then 4%, then a funded account. The widest drawdown of the three, and a static floor that never moves.

  • Daily drawdown 4%, reset at 00:00 UTC. A hard breach.

  • Maximum drawdown 8% static. The floor is fixed 8% below your starting balance and never moves. A hard breach.

  • Single-trade loss 3% on the funded account. A hard breach.

Instant Pro

No evaluation. You trade a funded account from day one, with no profit target.

  • Daily drawdown 4%, reset at 00:00 UTC. A hard breach.

  • Maximum drawdown 6% trailing. The floor follows your equity upward, then locks at your starting balance. A hard breach.

  • Single-trade loss 2%. A hard breach.

  • 6 profitable trading days before each reward request, each closing at least 0.5% in profit.

Rewards

Rewards on perpetuals follow the same process as every UZO account: positions closed, identity verified, the 20% Best Day Rule met. See Is there a Best Day Rule at UZO? and Reward structure: caps, tiers and how much you can withdraw.

What counts as a day on a market that never closes

The day boundary is 00:00 UTC. At that moment the higher of your equity and balance becomes the reference for the next day's drawdown limit.

Positions held across it are not closed or reset. Only the level that would breach you is recalculated. A trade opened on Saturday and closed on Monday is entirely normal here.

Funding counts

Funding payments move your balance, and therefore your equity. They count towards your daily and maximum drawdown, and towards your target and reward, exactly as a trade does. See Funding rates, explained.

Inactivity

An account with no trading for 35 consecutive days is closed for inactivity. Place a trade within each 35-day window and the clock starts again.

The usual UZO rules apply

Perpetuals accounts sit under the same trading rules as every UZO account, including the framework on prohibited strategies. Read What trading strategies are prohibited at UZO? before your first trade.
